Tena is responsible for assisting the vice president of finance and operations with accounting activities and reporting of all financial entries for the organization. She also ensures the Foundation's compliance with federal and state laws.
Tena earned her BS in Business Management and holds an MBA in Accounting. She worked 17 years for Agere Systems as an electronic technician, engineer and supervisor, but sought a career change when she joined the Foundation. She serves as a bookkeeper for Redhedgrafix and acts as the business manager for a local community orchestra in her free time.
