Stephen Clark

Stephen comes into this role with 17 years of experience and complex technical expertise in charitable gift planning. He was raised in Maryland and Eastern Pennsylvania, the son of a pastor/missionary. Since receiving a BS from Houghton College in 1973, he has served as a pastor in a local church and in various ministry leadership roles since 1986 – and moved into gift planning in 1995. Previous to coming to Wycliffe in 2010, Steph served as a regional consultant with The Orchard Foundation and then as Director for Gift Planning with The Christian and Missionary Alliance. His gift planning training includes advanced training at the National Planned Giving Institute at the College of William and Mary and with the American College.

He and his wife, Paula, have been married for 38 years – with two children and six grandchildren who actively serve in ministry. Steph’s life mission is to enable and equip Christian stewards to endow Christian ministry through gift planning and donor development – and thereby, to bring back the King. With this philosophy coupled with his vast technical expertise, he is well suited to lead Wycliffe Foundation’s ministry of gift planning and to help people discover and implement God’s plan of stewardship for what He’s entrusted to them.
