Bob Bates is a volunteer gift planner handling the area from Orlando to South Florida. He not only has a tremendous heart for Bible translation but also a fascinating background.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Bob worked for 40 years at the Kennedy Space Center in software engineering and management. During his last 19 years at KSC, he managed launch-processing-system-software engineering for the Space Shuttle program.
Bob has served on several church committees involving missions, finance and budgeting. What's more, he has volunteered for various departments at the Wycliffe Mobilization Center in Orlando. We're glad he landed with us!
