Doug Hinton brings more than 20 years of development experience to the Wycliffe Foundation, serving the south central area, including Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Colorado and New Mexico.
Before joining the foundation, Doug was the Associate Director of Development and the Director of Planned Giving at The Salvation Army and the Regional Development Director for an international Christian denomination.
Doug also completed 15 years of pastoral ministry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in religion from Indiana Wesleyan University, a degree from the College for Financial Planning, and many continuing education credits in the estate planning and planned giving fields. He has been married to his wife, Rachel, for 35 years and they are blessed with two children and four grandchildren.
