
Michael brings to his role of service over 21 years of experience in the area of gift planning having served as a Director of Planned Giving for The Salvation Army and Vice President of Gift and Estate Planning for Saddleback Memorial Foundation. In his career, he has overseen the development of over $170 million in charitable gifts, many of which involved very complex and creative gift planning techniques.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business-Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Master’s Degree in Taxation from the University of Southern California. A Certified Financial Planner (CFP), he is a past board member and president of the Orange County Planned Giving Roundtable, a member of the Orange County Estate Planning Council, member and current president of the South Orange County Estate Planning Council, member of the Kingdom Advisors, and a past board member of the Financial Planners Association of Orange County. He believes very strongly in a strong collaborative relationship with major gift officers and their donors. Michael’s vision is to endow the Lord’s work through charitable planned gifts by providing exceptional gift planning service and assistance to philanthropically minded individuals and professional advisors.
